The chiefs and elders around the cyber wigwam have organized a special series of get togethers or councils for those in the blogging nation that need the extra social stimulus to populate their blogs with meaningful, interesting, attractive and timely content. The council meets for seven weeks, once per week starting Tuesday, June 15. For more details email Chief Blogger today and reserve your spot at the wigwam. Mayo Clinic 20th Century health pioneer, 21st Century SM pioneer!
One of my favorite organizations, the Mayo Clinic has shown us all up. They experimented and embraced Social Media early. They epitomize a real leader in their industry. Long respected in the 20th century for paving the way for more effective health care structures they have continued that tradition in the 21st century with social media. You can see an unbelieivable blog site by clicking here. Another article from the Jacksonville Business Journal reviews the history of their social media endeavors. Read it here. My favorite quote from this article is:
“Having a company Web site is so five years ago. Social media — the umbrella term for blogs, social networks, photo video and podcasts, and other user-generated mediums — is the new era. And the possibilities are seemingly endless.”
